Can it be that 2 years have already passed since Mimi entered our lives? What did we ever do without her?
She is silly, funny, a loving sister, a great cuddler, and a definite daddy's girl. She loves frozen peas, pistachios, kalamata olives, marshmallows and lime yogurt. She loves pretending she is a monkey, baby butterfly, baby lion, or baby whatever-Julia-is-being. She loves band-aides, combing the dog, hiding from "monsters" and the color pink. She loves making forts, swinging "to the moon" and walking backwards upside down. She is an acrobat. She can climb into her crib both forwards and backwards. She can exit it both ways, too. She is a stinker who whimpers about having ailments when she wants to sit in Mama's lap during dinner. She tantrums when she wants more peas but us told she needs to finish the ones on her plate first. She nestles into our big bed every morning...her warm weight the perfect shape for the space right in between Mama and Daddy. She tells all the parts of her own knock-knock jokes (Knock-knock. Who's there? Sister freckle who? Freckle!!) And she is ours!
